We had the honor of hearing God’s Word through Flatirons Longmont Campus Pastor Scott Bloyer at last night’s huddle! 🙌 We talked about making painful decisions now, even when we may not see the fruit or understand why God is leading us through them until much further down the road. One of our biggest takeaways was, “Pain refines you, it doesn’t define you.” Walking with Jesus doesn’t mean we are promised a life without suffering. Instead, we can allow difficult seasons to refine us, deepen our walk with the Lord, and change the way we live. Pastor Scott reminded us that In a culture that is often pain-averse and quick to avoid discomfort, we are reminded that God can use our hardest seasons for His glory. 📖 1 Peter 4:1–2, 12–19 A huge thank you to @wsbloyer for pouring into our community at FCA! November 8th serving opportunity!! @lovewellcolfax is a ministry on mission to offer a restored life for those experiencing homelessness in Denver. We are partnering with them during their weekly Sunday outreach rhythm. We will fill red wagons with pizza, fruit, Gatorade, and resource totes, to distribute hygiene items, food, and resource cards to people along Colfax. Come be the hands and feet of Jesus with us!
